Fort Powell will be the home of America's Buffalo Soldier Military Academy College Preparatory Boarding School grades 7-12 and Headquarters for America’s Buffalo Soldiers Re-Enactors Association, (ABSRA), 9th & 10th Cavalry, 24th & 25th Infantry, Black Canyon Trail - Bumble Bee, Arizona.
 

Presently, Fort Powell is in the development phase and projected to open it’s gates in the summer of 2001.
 

Fort Powell will contain the following:

• Infirmary
• Chapel
• Mess Hall
• Fully equip gymnasium
• Classrooms
• Computer lab
• Library
• Museum
• Obstacle Course
• General store / Gift Shop
• Communications Center (Radio/TV)
• Cadet’s Club
• Officers Club
• 40 horse stall barn
• ½ Mile Circular Training Track
• 4-lane lap pool

ABSRA requires $25,000,000 to build Fort Powell Buffalo Soldier Military Academy College Preparatory Boarding School (Bumble Bee, Arizona), Tourist Attraction, Nationwide Summer Service Center for Children At-Risk and Historical Mark for all Americans and the world to see.  All donations can be mailed to America's Buffalo Soldiers, Bank of America, 6501 N. Fort Powell is named for and in honor of General Colin Powell (Ret.) for the sacrifices and contributions he has made to raise American's consciousness

and to the continuing sacrifices and history of the 9th and 10th Cavalry and the 24th and 25th Infantry.
