ABSRA’s Right-of-Passage Program
America’s Buffalo Soldiers have developed a mentoring program for culturally diverse young men and women between the ages of seven (7) and seventeen (17).
ABSRA’s Mentoring program is a Rito-de-Pasaje, (Right-of-Passage) for thirteen (13) weeks in the beginning. If the child can acquire the number of points (400 out of 600) to graduate, he or she can become a member of America’s Buffalo Soldiers’ distinguished Jr. Division.
ABSRA’s Mentoring program continues to assists young people with the following ten (10) components while participating in on-going exercises, trips and events until his or her 18th birthday:

America’s Buffalo Soldiers Jr. Division is managed by ABSRA’s Sr. Division under the heading "Caring Adults Providing Support And Guidance", (CAPSAG).
All of ABSRA’s Mentoring candidates wear a Black Baseball Cap, Black Sweat Top, Black Sweat Bottom, Black Combat Boots or Black High Top Tennis Shoes and Red Bandana during a thirteen (13) week-end program that consists of 190+ hours in the following areas prior to membership consideration:

ABSRA’s Mentoring program develops strong minds, bodies and spirit. In addition, America’s Buffalo Soldiers Mentoring program develops dexterity, flexibility, team work, desire, dedication, discipline, self-reliance and love. ABSRA’s Mentoring also helps develop the ability to contribute to his or her home, church, school or job with respect for themselves and others in a positive way.
